About Petr
Petr's journey into senior leisure travel began in 2007 when he
volunteered as a guide for the Czech Hiking Association, leading
accessible walking groups through the Moravian countryside. What
started as weekend hikes became a career dedicated to helping
mature travelers explore the world at their own pace.
He studied at Charles University in Prague and later earned
advanced credentials from the University of Economics, focusing
on tourism accessibility and regional development. But it's his
17 years of fieldwork that really matters — documenting walking
routes across Bohemia and Moravia, mapping rest points,
identifying terrain conditions, and uncovering the stories
behind every corner.
His breakthrough work mapping the Telč town square's
architectural heritage and surrounding lakeside paths became the
reference guide for accessible cultural tourism in the Vysočina
region. He's authored over 200 articles on senior-friendly
outdoor experiences, always with meticulous attention to
practical details. Distance. Elevation. Accessibility. History.
Everything matters.
Petr's philosophy is simple: age shouldn't limit exploration —
it should redefine the pace. He approaches each article, each
route, each recommendation with that belief at the core. You'll
find his work spans cultural heritage sites, lakeside strolls,
and quiet corners of historic towns where the real stories live.
